- Stop all managed servers and the WLS admin server.
- Backup your current setDomainEnv.sh file in <Middleware_Home>/user_projects/domains/<domain_name>/bin/
- Open and edit the setDomainEnv.sh file and locate the section JAVA_HOME=”${JAVA_HOME}”
- Either update the path to point to the new JDK or update the JAVA_HOME environment variable.
- Repeat for all applicable nodes.
For WebCenter Content:
- Back up the UCM_server1_intradoc.cfg file in <domain_name>/ucm/cs/bin/
- Modify the JAVA_HOME location as in the instructions above.
- Back up the intradoc.cfg file in <IntradocDir>/config/
- Modify the JAVA_HOME location as in the instructions above.
- Repeat the steps for both files on all applicable nodes.
Verifying JDK has been updated:
- Start up the admin server and all managed servers.
- Verify the new version of Java by logging into WCC in the browser and navigating to Administration -> Configuration for <instance_name> and viewing the version of Java listed.
